Demuxed with the latest DGDemux with merge DV function.

Now for the audios, one has to go "e;kiri, kiri, kiri"e; into the matter. The Arrow UHD has a new stereo track (this was originally screened theatrical with DTS Stereo as shown in the end credits) that sounds the best compared to either previous real stereo tracks or the dowmixes from the then new created 5.0 remix. This track since it was remastered and not a port, also has the proper pitch. Now for the 4.0 on said Arrow UHD, this track is botched and didn't decode well from the DTS Stereo 2.0. While the Stereo dematrixes very well to 4.0 and essentially is the same track as 4.0, the 4.0 has at aprox. 42m 55s 438ms a desync on the center channel followed by a desync on L/R/BC channels a bit later to never be aligned again, while the 2.0 decoded to 4.0 is fine. This means after that given point in time, the track is unlistenable as it makes it echoey with sounds coming at wrong times, so it was discarded since the 2.0 as written before is the same track matrixed and decodes well to said 4.0.

All 5.1 audios on the Blu-rays including the Arrow UHD one are 5.0 in a 5.1 container, that is, excluding the Shout track which instead of including an empty channel, did it with a 5.0 configuration. All these can be divided in two: The ones with the right pitch and those with wrong pitch. The Shout has the right pitch, as so does the German blu-ray. The first German blu-ray is a port from the Shout; the 2nd release by Capelight uses the arrow 2k master but still uses the Shout track as they did pay attention to it; However this "e;24-bit track"e; is only in name because they sped it up to 24 fps but the cut-off is worse than the 16-bit Shout. Then, there's the tracks with the wrong pitch which sadly, even the Arrow UHD track is as it is just a port from the previously botched lower pitched audio from 2016. French label The Jokers also ported this track. So naturally with same fps, the Shout track was chosen and synced with an edit to compensate for two frames (2 black frames), matching the runtime of UHD. There's indeed, some 5.1 on the DVDs with LFE but they sound much worse than these so they were discarded.

For the Japanese commentary, on most of the releases, the audio muxed in with the voices are in the wrong pitch, as most labels just ported the Arrow 2016 track. This recording seemed to be done for Shout Factory, as they got it lossless without any part of the movie mixed in. So synced said track of Shout and mixed in the Stereo from Arrow UHD, aligning it and making it at sound at the volume of the ac3 on UHD. This track has much better dynamic range and has the movie at right pitch.

There's a select specific scene commentary on NTSC DVD but that's an extra with all the movie till chapter 16 of it without any presence.

For the English commentary done by Tom Mes, all of the tracks unfortunately have the movie mixed in at the wrong pitch with the commentator voice at right pitch, as this was recorded for Arrow in 2016. There's no track with vocals only, so I didn't see the point in transcoding the previous arrow to the remux, as the commentary itself was recorded in poor quality and the Arrow GBR Blu-ray only has additional noise on the spectrogram, so kept the UHD track.

For the exclusive commentary found on the Umbrella Entertainment AUS Blu-ray, this track like all others are in 24 fps speed, with the video dropping frames to accommodate such speed at 23.976. This made the assumption the tracks were also 23.976, but they're clearly not. So passed the commentary from 24 fps to 23.976, with one edit. This matches the stereo track even when they're not talking. It is worth mentioning the movie soundtrack mixed in the commentary is in the right pitch.

Audio Comparisons: Stereo, 5.1 and 5.0 remixes, Samples, Tom Mes Commentary.

Additional PGS from the aforementioned Blu-rays were synced (with edits to compensate 12 frames missing, in the case of Shout only less 2) and tonemapped to same % as the UHD. I saw merits in including the Shout subs since for Japanese audio it has US spelling and is a slightly different translation plus English SDH for commentary. SRTs were also synced.

Named chapters adapted from the NTSC DVD, preferred over the Tartan PAL DVD and JPN BD; Still for first stop the Tartan refers to the most accurate scene, while main titles are just a brief passing, so it is best to include both. The chapters are all synced to best available P/I-frames depending on the scene.
